K. for Ji-'niors were decided. H. T. J. McMel won the Victor Ludorum Cup, while J. Nacey, with 23 points, secured the points cup. • The runner-up for the Victor Ludorum Cup was J. MacKenzie, with 9 points, L. Christie, J. Nacey and R. S. Hurdon dead- °, r thlrd Position. R. Lumley, with 21 points, was runner-up in the junior cup, L. Beehre, 12 points, being third. HAMILTON TECHNICAL.
Six records were broken at the Hamilton Technical School, when the preliminary events of the annual sports were contested. F. Buckingham, running the 880 yards junior championship in 2.24. lowered, the existing record by 0 2-sm. while R. Feisst set new figures for the SSO yards under 16, covering the distance in 2.28 2-D. Two records for the 100 yards were broken in the running of the heats, D. Matthews winning his heat of the 100 yards under 15 in 12s, and O. Gibson winning the second heat of the open event in lis. The previous best time for the 440 yards open event was bettered by two runners in different heats, N. Sutton covering the distance in 61s, and O. Gibson in 61 2-ss, while in the open mile Sutton again created a' new record, registering 3.32 8-5.
