ALL-NIGHT PARKING.
"All-night parking is a serious matter in this borough," said Mr. E. Aldridge, deputy-Mayor of Devonport, at last night's meeting of the council. "You have men buying expensive cars and refusing to spend £20 to build a garage. Care parked all night are a menace to traffic." He added that at the Municipal Association conference in Dunedin he had ascertained that local bodies could set aside an area for all-niglit parking, and it was within their power to impose a fee.
