MRS. E. CAMMELL. i RECORD OF SERVICES. Mrs. E. Cammell, the senior lady officer in the. St. John Ambulance Brigade, Auckland district, li.is many years service to her credit. _Be"inniiifr in 1014 as a member of th.» Auckland Nursing Division, she was a great worker during the war period, being organiser and member of the various guilds. She was the first lady superintendent of- the National Reserve Nursing Division from the year to the year li'.'VJ, when she was promoted to lady corps superintendent.

Mrs. Cammell was awarded the service medal of the Venerable Order in the year 1928, and since then she has been awarded two bars, denoting two extra periods of five years' efficient service. In 1934 she was invested a member of the Venerable Order in the grade of "Serving Sister," and recently she received notification of her promotion to the grade of "Officer of the Order." Early this year she was promoted to the rank of district officer, the highest position hitherto attained by a lady in the St. John Ambulance Brigade in j Auckland. Mrs. Cammell was the founder of the medical comforts depot, a most useful and appreciated section of the St. John work, and she is a member of the general and other committees of the association.
