WEATHER FORECAST.

FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government Meteorologist issued to the " Auckland Star" this afternoon the following apecial weather forecast for the Auckland province to as far south as Hamilton, Kawhia and Tauranga:— Light to moderate and variable winds, southerlies predominating. Weather fair to cloudy and mild. Seas moderate on the west coast, slight on the east coast. An anti-cyclor.e covers the north Sea and extends on to the North Island. A shallow depression is advancing across the south Taeman Sea. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tirltlri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, south-south-east, light; sea, smooth; weather, cloudy and hazy; visibility, fair; barometer has a rising tendency.
