TANGIBLE CLUE.
Discovery Of Woman's Clothing In Water-Hole. "PYJAMA GIRL" MYSTERY. SYDNEY, March 26. The first tangible clue to a solution of what is known as the Albury "pyjama girl" mystery, is being followed by the police as a sequel to the dis- j covery in a water-hole of a quantity of j a woman's clothing believed to have belonged to the murdered girl. A drought in the Albury district lowered the water level and a man discovered the bundle of clothes, but told nobody for nearly a month. In the meantime rain had fallen and the water had risen again, but firemen pumped the water in the hole to a low level. When further rain occurred, however the police jumped into the hole and secured a pair of shpes which fit the feet of the murdered girl, whose body has been kept in a formalin bath at Sydney University since it was discovered in September, 1934. "
The firemen are to resume pumping to-morrow. The police believe they may find other clothes which will lead to the establishment of the identity of the girl, also the revolver with which she was shot.
