CHRISTIAN RALLY.
GATHERING OF YOUTH. j ADDRESS BY COLONEL MILES. "Christ was a strong, virile young man, young in. mind, interests and in choice of friends," said Colonel the Rev. F. J. Miles, organising secretary of the Russian Missionary Society, London, in addressing a youth rally held in the Town Hall yesterday afternoon under the auspices of the Y.M.C.A. and the missionary society. He challenges youth to acceptance, ambition and adventure, and He wants youth to serve Him before they have their fling and bring only dead leaves tP Him when they are about tq die," the speaker continued.
When his address was over. Colonel Miles asked members of the congregation, which numbered some 1650, tP bear witness to their allegiance to Christ. A large number stood as a mark of their faith.
The Rev. A. S. Wilson offered a prayer of dedication.
Colonel Miles also spoke yesterday moi-hing at gt. Lake's Ghurch, Remuera, and at the Baptist Tabernacle last night. He leaves " for the Spilth tQ^Uy,
