WELLINGTON, Monday
General Industries, Limited, Sydney, announces a final dividend of 7% per cent on ordinary shares, making 12% per cent for the year ended February 28. Preference dividend for the year is 7 per cent. Payment will be made on March 31. Both distributions are unaltered.
BEATH AND COMPANY.
The directors of Beath and Company, Limited, Christehurch, drapers, have declared an unchanged interim dividend of 2% per cent on preference and ordinary shares, payable on March 31. WOOLWORTHS (W.A.), LTD. i (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Monday. The directors of Woolworths (West Australia), Ltd., announce that the net profit for the year ended January 31, subject to completion of the audit and after making provision for income taxes, amounts to £24,480. A final dividend of 15 per cent is recommended on ordinary shares, making 20 per cent for the year.
The earnings compare with £23,533 in the previous year and the dividend is unchanged.
