MALVERN CROQUET CLUB.

A pleasant progressive eroqiiet afternoon was held on the Malvern lawns recently, to farewell two members, Mrs. Munn and Miss Riley, who are shortly leaving to reside in Christehureh. During the serving of afternoon tea the presi dent, Mrs. Aughton, in an appropriate speech, presented the guests of honour with a small token of esteem from club members. Mrs. Munn responded on behalf of the recipients, thanking the; members of the club for the gifts and' good wishes. I
