ONE DIED IN HOSPITAL.
OTHER KILLED BY SHOCK.

JOHANNESBURG, February 11
Two men, boyhood friends and inseparable companions, died within a few minutes of each other at Krugersdorp. One, a former police constable, collapsed and died on hearing of the death of the other, a serving constable.
Constable J. p. Grobler died at Krugersdoi p Hospital following a serious operation. When the news was conveyed tp his closest friend, ex-Constable F." J. Swanepoel, he, too, collapsed and died. Constable Grobler was born in Rustenburg. He joined the Krugersdorp station with his friend in H)l2. Swanepoel retired from the force on December 19 last year. Both men leave wives and families.
