Mr. H. J. Kelliher returned by air yesterday afternoon from Wellington.

Mr. A. E. Hefford, Chief Inspector of Fisheries, was a passenger for Wellington by the early express this afternoon.

The Hon. H. G. R. Mason, Attorney - General and Minister of Justice, -will return eouth by the Limited express to morrow evening.

Mr. F. G. Young, national secretarv of the New Zealand Hotel WorkersFederation, was a passenger for Dunedin by air this morning.

Mr. C. Alma Baker, of the Federated Malay States, who has been visiting the Dominica for some months, will sail in the Wanganclla this afternoon.

Mr. W. B. Darlow, of tlie Auckland Barbour Board, who big been oil a visit to Wellington, returned l>v the Limited express this morning.

Mr. Norton Francis, of Christdiurcli, has been appointed New Zealand vice president erf the Federation of Chambers of Commerce of the British Empire.

Mr. R. J. Mills, Mayor of Mount Eden, and Mr. I«. O. Hall, town clerk of Whangarei, have left for Wellington, on route to Duncdin, to attend the municipal l conference. Group-Captain J. B. Graham, of the Royal Air Force, England, -who has been spending a month trout fishing at Taupo, is visiting Auckland. He is accompanied by Mrs. Graham. Mr. H. A. Anderson, Mayor of Mount Albert, Mr. T. R. Congalton, town clerk, and Mr. F. B. Watts will leave by the Limited express to-morrow evening on their way to Dnnedin, to represent the borough at the municipal conference.

Mr. J. J. Trimble, of Papatoetoc, accompanied by his wife, will leave for Sydney and Melbourne in the Wanganella this afternoon. During their etav in Australia they will -visit the Blue Mountains.
