COMING EXHIBITION.
A complimentary luncheon was tendered at the Chamber of Commerce to-day by the, Auckland Manufacturers' Association to the Minister of Indnetriee and Commerce, the Hon. D. G. Sullivan, who holds the position of president of the New Zealand Centennial Exhibition, mid to Sir. T. C. A; Hislop, Mayor of Wellington, chairman of directors of the Kxhibition, Company. , The president of the association, Mr. H. W. Shove, prewided over a large gathering of ibusinesa men.' The Minister said that the Government's policy was a-permanent one and not 1 ' merely - introduced to overcome exiting difficulties.
