INTER-HOUSE MATCHES. The second round of the Pascoe Cup interhouse tennis competition was continued last night at the Clive Road courts. Following were the results:— Public Works v. New Zealand Insurance No. 2 Team.—Tudhope and McCulioch boat F. L. Leyland and I*. Havwkin, 6—3, o—2 : Wells and Shepherd beat K. X. Wilson and C. U. Dlgnau, ti—2, ti—2. Public Works won b!r two matches to none.

Guardian Trust No. 2 Team v. Commercial Bank No. 1 Team.—T. Haywood and T. Robinson beat Whyte and McKeown, 6—2, 6—l ; A. Blanehfleld and J. McAneny beat Brlttaln and Gauntlett, 6—3, o—6, 7—5. Guardian Trust won by two matches to none.

Seabrook, Fowlds Xk>. 2 Team v. New Zealand Insurance No. 1 Team.—\V. Fowlds and O. Carpenter lost to R. B. Abbott and G. N. Joy, 6—5, o—3, 3—6 ; J. Horspool and J. Harvey lost to A. Myers and L. Robinson. 6—l, I—6, 5—7. New Zealand Insurance won by two matches to none.

Hospital Board v. South British Insurance.—C. Dryland and C. Beresford lost to A. Spooner and F. Edwards. 3—6, 6—3, 3—6: H. P. Boys and A. \V. I'ugh beat D. Broughton and A. Mcßae, 6—3.'6—3; Boys and Dryland beat Spooner and Gordon, C—3, 6—2. Hospital Board won by two matches to one.
