PETTY THIEVING.

COMPLAIWTS AT MARKETS. Theft of a grapefruit from the city markets was alleged against a Maori youth, Johnson Sullivan, in the Police Court before Mr. F. H. Levien, S.M, to-day. Defendant, who did not appear, was fined 20/. Sub-Inspector Fox said that although the theft was a very minor one, action was being taken in view of complaints that had been made about petty thieving at the markets.
