In 1928 •t defeated Portugal, in 1934 it lost to Czechoslovakia and in 1935 to Australia. la 1937 it beat China and lost to South Africa when Stedmaa had to retiro with an injery. Sere* Player* have represented the Peacock, E. D. Andrews, J*. & T. I* , ""*' C. E. Malfroy, A. C. Stedman and D. C. Coombe have had that honour. A challenge was entered last year, bat when otedman withdrew the proposed tour was abandoned.
