ONE UP TOO SOON
WHEN Sunplay led paat the * * post the first time round in the Progressive Handicap at Kensington (Sydney) on January 18, a woman punter shrieked with delight and rushed to the betting ring to collect. But the ring was empty and she returned to the lawn to see the field go round the track again, with Sunplay last past the post. "1 don't know why they should have to go round a second time, when he has already won the race," •he was heard to complain.
