"ROBIN HOOD" AT REGENT. Packed houses at the Regent Theatre continue to : testify tb the success of Warner Brothers' magnificent spectacle, "The Adventures of Robin Hood." The acrecn provides the only way for many people to escape the humdrum of everyday life, and "Robin Hood" ie ideal for such persons in that it transport* them to one of the most colourful periods in history, with one of the most romantic figures England has ever produced. Xot oii\y for them, however, does the film exercise such strong appeal. For all who seek entertainment, and all who love adventure, there have been few productions to equal it. The thrilling story, based on a collection of the most popular and Sest-known stories of the famous outlaws exploits has kept all audiences so far agog with excitement from beginning to end; the characters are ideally portrayed in every instance, and unusually lavish settings appear even more impressive due to expert uee of technicolour in its moat advanced and natural form. Errol Flynn, the (swashbuckling hero of "Captain Blood" and "The Charge «E the Light Brigade," portrays the leading figure perfectly, and proves hie worth to be ranked with the highest class actore in Hollywood. One whose name does not figure prominently on the cast lists ako deserves mention here —Frank Hill, the American wizard of archery, who doubles for Flvnn in the bow-and-arrow sequences. The high standard set by the star in equalled by Olivia de Havilland, ae Mairl Marion, and all other principals—Basil Rathlwiie, Claude Rains. Melville Cooper. Patric Knowlee and Herbert Mundin.
