MOTHERS' CLUB.
The Mothers' Club of the Y.W.C.A. held an enjoyable picnic at Blockhouse Bay on Tuesday. There was a good attendance of members and friends. The following is the result of the sports programme: —Skipping contest, Mrs. A. Edwards 1, Mrs. K. Baker 2; hopping race, Mm. M. Wright 1, Mrs. E. Hay 2} ball game, Mrg.<=Gaughan- 1, Miss D. Thomas 2; walking race for grandmas, Mrs. W. Edwards I, Mrs. Baker 2; kissing the kitty, Mrs. Greep 1, Mrs. W. Manson 2; guessing competition (officers [and committee), Mrs. W. Edwards 1, Mrs. Hay 2. •
