Among the entertainments arranged for the week is a launch picnic next Thursday afternoon, given by Mr. and Mrs, If. O. Wiles on their launch, the Lady Margaret. The guests will include the league committee of men and women. Mrs. Palmer is giving a morning tea oil Friday at the Lyceum Club. Mr. C. Whitney has made arrangement* to take Earl and Countess Beatty on their Hahing trip to Taupo.
