FARMER POUND SHOT. (Bjr Telegraph—PreM Association.) HASTINGS, Monday. When Mr. W. C. Smith, a farmer, of Esk Valley, entered a wliare at the back of r house where his father and brother had been baching, he found hi* brother, Ivan Sanderson Smith, aged 28, also a farmer, dead with a shotgun wound over his heart and a gun be«ide liiin. Deceased wag a son of Mr. C. C. Smith, chairman of the HawkeV Bay County Council.
