On the Saturday, the brilliant Van Derby will attempt to lower his own Aw* tralasian record time of 2.1 1-5 for a mile, and, if the conditions are favourable, there is little doubt that new figures for the distance will be established. Mabee, at the office of the club, Durham Street East, on Friday next at 5 p.m.
