GEOGRAPHY FROM AIR. BRISBANE MASTER'S TOUR. MET VIENNESE BOYS' CHOIR. The geography class of the Brisbane Grammar School have days of romanco in store. They may not all travel abroad, but their master, Mr. Jack C. Deeney, has made a round-the-world toyr in the school vacation, and when he continued hi* homeward voyages by the Mariposa from Auckland last eveniiig he was eager to tell his boye of his glorious adventures. Leaving Brisbane on December 4 in a K.L.M.S. (Dutch) aeroplane, he arrived in London on December 11, left Kngland by the French Atlantic liner N'ormandie on the 17th of that month, arrived at New York on the 22nd. spent twelve days motoring across the United States, visiting the Grand CaTiyon and other places of scenic interest, joined the Mariposa in California and will reach Sydney on January 23. "This is my second world tour," Mr. Deeney said to a "Star" representative, "but this time I will be able to give my boys geography from the air as we'll as from land and sea." While in New York Mr. Deeney resumed friendship with members of the \ ion'iese Boye' Choir, which visited Australia and New Zealand a lew years ago. Under the conductorship of Hcrr (lomboz, they were taking part in the Christmas festival at Radio City Music Hall. They hope to visit this part of the world again in 1940. The Viennese Boys' Choir, whose visit to New Zealand and Australia has been announced for this year under Dr. fjruber is another choir, and has not vvt visited this part of the world.
