MISS EMILY CHAPLIN. PROMINENT EDUCATIONIST. (By Telegrapb.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Friday. The death is announced of Mies Emily Chaplin, a member of the Canterbury College Council and vice-pre-sident of the National Council of Women. She trained as a teacher, holding office period as president of tlie Institute and algo - Women's Teachers' Association. Chaplin's experience and interest in educational matters received further recognition when she was chosen as one of the New Zealand delegates to the first Pan-Pacific Womens' Conference held at Honolulu!
