DUST NUISANCE.

I would like to brinu to notice the condition of Church Street, Penrose, 'between the Great South Road and Te Papapa. This road i* the main road from Onehunga to Westfieldj and carries a large amount of traffic all day. The road becomes nothing bnt a cloml of du-t. anil those of us who live in it dare not o|xti a : window for fresh air. The furniture and carpets are juet covered all the time, to say ! nothing of the food. A larpe amount f>f ratepayers' money is epent on tin* road every year, patching it with tone of seoria, which only makes more duet, whereas if it were tarsealed the future upkeep would be very little and the residents would be able to keep their houses decent. Under the present conditions this is impossible. RESIDENT.
