KAIPARA TO LOAD FOR HALIFAX

The Union Company's intercolonial liner Awatea, which arrived at 1 p.m. yesterday from Sydney, will sail at o p.m. to-day oil her return to that port. She brought almost a full complement of passengers yesterday and takes 000 back to Svdnev this evening, being a full ship. The M.A.X.Z. Line motor ship Kaipara arrived this morning J lOl ' 1 Dimedin and berthed at Princcij wiini . She is loading for Yolk, Boston. St. John and Halifax and will leave to-morrow evening for Napier, Wellington and Lyttelton, sailing on December 31. The Union Company's motor ship Matua, which arrived yesterday afternoon from the Islands, will leave at 5 p.m. to-day for Wellington to complete her discharge of fruit. The Federal Line motor ship Durham will arrive at 4 p.m. to-morrow from Glasgow and Liverpool with general cargo.

Port Huon left for Xapier parly this morning to continue loading for London, sailing from Wellington on December .'lO. (F. Co-op.) Susana is discharging hardwood from West Australia at Central wharf and will leave for Wellington on Saturday. (I\. and S., Ltd.) Tekoa, which arrived from Tokomaru Bay yesterday morning. is loading for London and West Coast ports at Central wharf and will sail on December 31. (X.Z.S. Co.) Monterey leaves Suva at 5 p.m. today for Auckland in continuation of her voyage from San Francisco. She arrives here 'at 7 a.m. on Friday, sniling at 10 j).m. for Sydney. (H. and M.) Wanganella was due at Wellington this forenoon from Sydney and will sail on her return at 4 p.m. oil Thursday. (H.P.) . , Orford left Brisbane this morning for Auckland with a large party of tourists. She will arrive at 8 a.m. on I'ndaj. sailing for Bay of Islands at midnight on Saturday. (U.S.S. Co.) Waimarama is loading at King's whari for London.
