GOODS WORTH £100. , TWO PREMISES ENTERED. BURGLARS TAKE CLOTHING. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HU.VTLV, this .lay. Thieves who were active in Huntly last night equipped themselves with clothing aiul other articles of personal use before they ceased their operations. | The business premises of hoth the I Farmers' Trading Company, Limited, land Mr. C. C. .Tohns-in, men's outfitter, jin Main Street, were entered by the j burglars. and from each place a variety |of goods was taken. I Mr. It. C. Avery, manager of the | Farmers' Trading Company, estimates | the value of the goods taken in his j case at about £100. They included shirts, hoots, shoes, razors, cameras, watches anil also suitcases. which apparently were used to t carry the poods awav in. It is believed that entry was gained through forcing a ba -k window. At Mr. Johnson's premises a quantity of clothing and a few suitcases were taken. A suit ha.l been removed from a tailor's "dummy" and carried away. Kntry had also been pained at this store through a i>ack window. The police have the matter in hand.
