COMMITTED FOR TRIAL.

MAORI LABOURER CHARGED. A Maori labourer, George Henderson, aged 30, in the Police Court yesterday, faced the charge that, 011 November 28, 30 and December 10, he was deemed to be an incorrigible rogue, being found by niglit without lawful excuse oil the enclosed premises of a private hotel in Grafton Road. Evidence was given that, on; the three dates mentioned,- accused, liad been seen on the premises, and that on one' occasion a young woman had identified accused as a man who had entered her bedroom at 1.15 a.m. Accused, for whom Mr. Aekins appeared, pleaded not guilty to all charges, and was committed to the Supreme Court for trial. Bail was allowed at £150.
