REGENT'S NEXT ATTRACTION.
With the world in its present state of turmoil, the release of "Our Fighting Navy," at the Regent Theatre on Friday, is timely. For this action-packed story, which depicts in thrilling fashion the triumph of right over might, also powerfully demonstrates the etrength and preparedness of our Empire's safeguard—the Navy. The film was produced with the co-operation of the British Admiralty, and the story is one which, although laid actually in a South American port, might well have been set against the background of the Civil War in Spain. Written by "Bartimus." a naval officer himself, it depicts the invaluable work the navy does in peace time, safeguarding the trade loutes. going to the aid of those in need, and generally upholding the prestige of the nation—a story which his never been s.» realistically shown on the screen before. H. B. Warner. Richard Cromwell and Robert Douglas are the principals, while the supporting cast includes such well-known players as Xoah Beery and Hazel Terry. The direction was in the capable hands of Norman Walker, famous for his superb handling of many British outdoor films.
