NICOLA'S SEASON OF MAGIC. Auckland .theatre-goers who have not yet availed themselves of the opportunity of seeing Nicola's latest programme of magic at His Majesty's Theatre have only three days left in ' which- to do so. The genial necromancer has enjoyed exceptional popularity during his stay here, and haß always earned enthusiastic applause for his illusions. The smoothness and dexterity with which he performs every feat, from the common billiard-ball trick to the famous "Indian Rope Trick," place him in a class above most showmen of his type seen here before, and, indeed, above most illusionists in the world to-day. Added to this he possesses a stage personality of an attractiveness second to none among previous visiting artists, and this enables him to put across his tricks to their best advantage. Special mention must also be made of the assisting artists, all of whom [ co-operate smoothly and efficiently to, aid the magician materially in baffling his audiences. Some of the supporting members of the company are stars in their own right, and of these A 1 de Clerq and Miss Lucille Roberts are outetandiug.
