MILK BILL WITHDRAWN.
OPPOSITION IN BRITAIN.
LONDON, December 1
Owing to opposition throughout Britain the Government has decided to withdraw its Milk Industry Bill, under which it was proposed to establish a Milk Commission with very wide powers and the distribution by monopolies in 10 large areas as an experiment, involving the disappearance of small retailers.
The bill will be presented in a new form later.
