It is even proposed that il extraterritorial rights shall go with it, so that ii it can be proclaimed British soil. Already its r choice is being discussed. From the Pyrenees 1 come suggestions that as Mr. Chamberlain s likes fishing and golf it shall be somewhere n in the neighbourhood of Pan. where he can enjoy fishing in plenty and find an English e atmosphere on the famous Pan golf links. The o Riviera is also putting in its claim as the ', ideal spot for the French home of Mr. Chanit berlain. pointing out that for more than a s hundred and fifty years Englishmen have gone rl to the Riviera for sunshine and health, and t that it has been honoured in the past by the - aristocracy and Royal family of Creat Britain, t Hiarrit/. retorts that the same can be said of s that resort, which was ever a favourite with King Edward YIT. The Parisian, of course, e will hear of no other place than Paris, detlar- - ing that only the capital can be worthy of the man who has. brought peace to the world.
