South Africa Will Not Return Ex-German Territory. STATEMENT TO MUSSOLINI. (Received 12.30 p.m.) ROME, November 28. Aβ a result of the visit of Mr. O. Firow, the Government expects to expedite the Italo-South African trade pact, but is reticent regarding the eolonies, concerning which Mr. Pirow is believed to have told Signor Mussolini that South Africa would not yield an Jneh of ex-German territory. PORTUGAL'S COLONIES. RETURN NOT CONSIDERED. (Received 12.30 p.m.) LISBON, November 28. General Carmona, President of Portugal, opening the National Aseembly, declared that there wan no question of dealings tending to diminish the sovereignty of territories civilised and built Up by the Portuguese.
