NAMING CALVES.
PROBLEM SOLVED. YOUTH'S BRIGHT PLAN. . HITLER AND MUSSOIJM. The international situation hae assumed amusing proportions in an Auckland suburb, which still boasts of its open spaces and farmlets. A schoolboy with an abundance of precocity has his cows for supplying the family needs and, although he does not qualify for the guaranteed price he seems to get plenty of enjoyment out of life.
In recent weeks, there have been additions to the littl* farm's stock. The first calf to arrive came at the time when four of the great Powers -were jdissecting Czechoslovakia, and the "young farmer" did not search long for a name for it. There was promptly presented to the suburb a Hitler.
There followed in due course a Mussolini and a Chamberlain. The local reign of the "dictators," however, is destined not to be long for all the calves were bulls and they are being fattened for killing.
