Your loving Budgetite, DOROTHY FEATHERSTOXE. A CLUB ACROSS THE TASMAN. 56, Warwick Road, Merry lands, Sydney, Australia. Dear Wendy. I wonder if you have any Sunshine Clubs in Australia. I am writing on behalf of the five girls and five boys who, if they may, desire to form a club and call it "The Kosy Koalas." I have been chosen captain, and Irene Last i« to be treasurer. I will enclose the name and age of all members. We shall all be looking forward to seeing a reply to this letter in the "Auckland Star" supplement. We are all rather in doubt as to whether we may form a club, as we think it might be only for New Zealanders. ! A New Zealand cousin of ours sends i the comic section of the "Star" to us weekly and has been doing «o for about 12 months. When I have read it I pass it on to other members until it comes back to me. I have quite a pile of them. We intend to have bazaars, pet shows, toy shows, fancy dresA parade*!, concerts and other functions to try and make a success of our club. We will have specially designed badges if we are allowed to have a club. Hoping for the best, I remain, MARY WHITFIELD (Captain). (A big welcome to this little club across the Tasman. We hope to hear more of the Kosy Koalas and their activities.—Wendy.) WELCOME, PURPLE PATCHES! 16, Windmill Road, Mount Eden, S.l.
