Bette Davis Announces Suit By Husband. wifely' neglect alleged. (Received 1.30 p.m.) HOLLYWOOD, November 23. Bette Davis has established a new social precedent foiv the movie colony by announcing to the Press that her journalist 'husband, Harmon ("Ham' ) Nelson, is suing for divorce. Nelson alleges that his' wife "neglected and failed to perform her duties," that she "flew into rages when asked to exhibit evidence of conjugal affection since the marriage." particularly last year, when she had been "inattentive, casual and distant to the point of rudeness and embarrassment." Nelson said an agreement had been reached regarding community of property, including four bank accounts, three motor cars and the household goods. |
