COUNTIES' ASSOCIATION.
BIRMINGHAM AND MIDLAND. Tlic Birmingham and Midland Counties Association held their mouthy social and dance on Wednesday- evening at the Fahian rooms, Queen Street. 1 lie president, Mr. Horace Y. Hampton, presided over a larpre attendance of members, visitors and new members. Dancing was interspersed with musical items and was continued until a late hour. The artists for the evening were: —Mr. Henderson, eon jurinjßT acts; Mi-ss Valerie and Master Ilore, step dancing; and Master Hore, bird mimicry. The opportunity was taken to make a presentation of a writing folio to Mr. Page, of 11.M.5. Achilles, memlier of the association, prior to his departure shortly for England. The Monte Carlo dance was won by Airs. Tricklebank and Mr. Gerard.
