PENWOMEN'S CLUB.

COMPETITION RESULTS. Yesterday afternoon at the Penwomen's Club the results of the annual competitions were announced. The Edna Maeky Foetry Cup was won by Miss Marie Conlan ("Look At Him, Lady,"), with Miss Kathleen Teape ("Harvest") second and Mrs. T. >sa Innes ("Seagulls"') third). Special mention was made also of "Winged Victory," by Miss Florence Quill, and "Library," by Mrs. E. M. Doust. Professor Sewell acted as adjudicator fir this competition. Mrs. Una Craig won the Hampton Reynolds Cup for a newspaper article, Mrs. E. M. Schmitt being runner-up. The "Penwomen's Journal," edited by Mrs. Una Craig, made its appearance, heralded by an amusing ceremony, the members of the executive acting as godmothers, and a birthday cake carrying one candle being cut. Mrs. Winifred Osborne sang pleasingly "What's in the Air" and "Thanks for a Garden."
