NIAGARA ARRIVES.

UNEVENTFUL TRIP. CALM TASMAN CROSSING. After en uneventful trip, marked by line weather and calm seas, the Union Company's liner Niagara arrived at Auckland morning from Sydney with 230 passengers. The Hon. Hugh A. Wyndham and Mi. Guy Hadley, secretary of the Imperial Committee of the Royal Institute of National Affairs, are returning to England after attending the Commonwealth Relations Conference in Australia. Mr. Harvey Turner returned to Auckland after a brief business visit to the Commonwealth. Mr. R. Blake Pelly, aide-de-camp to the State Governor of New South Walee, Lord Wakehurst, is on his way to England. Dr. H. P. Picker ill, who has been in Sydney . fer the past two months, arrived back, and . will stay in Auckland for a few days before going to .Wellington. Mr. J. B. Stetson, who wae United States Ambassador in Poland from 1925 to 1930, Iβ a through passenger. He has > been spending a holiday in Australia. F Mr; D. Henry, chairman of directors of New Zealand Products, Limited, returned from a business visit to Sydney. The departure of the Niagara for Vancouver to-morrow has been deferred Irom 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. She arrived at 7 a.m. to-day from Sydney with 230 passengers for Auckland, also Empire air mails dispatched from London on September 15 and 17.
