SYDNEY XIII.S HASY VICTORY. Leading by 9 points to 0 at half-time Eastern Suburbs (Sydney) defeated a South Auckland team 17— r> in a e-ame that entertained -a large crowd at Hunti.v yesterday. Pearce was outstanding for "the visitors, while Turner and Beadle wore prominent for the home sile. Mr F Krapper was referee. The' visitors were subsequently entertained and departed for Rotorua 'at eight o'clock last evening.
