An open pairs tourney held on Saturday resulted in victory for Mrs. l>. <iel<ling and G. Day (skip), with 5 wins out of 7, games. The final of the champion <;pen lours tourney will be played «.n Octob-r 17. The following uunllfied :—Mrs. I.nrsen. Mrs. McAuliffe, Mrs. Stein, Mrs. Boles (skip). Mrs. Peter. Timmins. H; Boles, F. Harris (skip), T. Armstrong, Mrs. Page, W. Aylett, A. Beer (skip). On the same date the following will contest the final of the championship pairs tourney :—Cosgrave. Sadler: .T. Campling. H. Cain#ling; T. Hammond, W. Fletcher.
