TROPICAL DOWNPOUR.
DUNEDIN EXPERIENCE. WATER INVADES HOMES. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUXEDIN, this day. Many Dunedin people were rudely disturbed shortly after midnight by a tropical downpour of rain and hail which lasted for 10 minutes. Through the blockage of a drain two houses were invaded by water and silt, one to a depth of two feet, and the other to a depth of six inches. Though brief, the fall of rain registered was-.4lin.
