WAIROA, this day.
The long-standing dispute between the Wairoa Electric Power Board and the Wairoa Borough Council, over the payment by the council for a bulk supply of electricity has been amicably settled. The dispute has been going on for several years. The basis of the settlement has not been disclosed.
