UN INT EBB UPT ED - HEARING.

THAMES, this day.

Receiving an uninterrupted hearing by an attendance of 400 last night, Mr. W. A. Clark, Nationalist candidate for the Thames electorate, gave a comprehensive survey of the National party's policy.

He strongly criticised the Government's legislation, particularly the housing and social security schemes.

At the conclusion of his address a motion was carried unanimously expressing confidence in the candidate and the National party. The Mayor, Mr. S. Elisor, presided.
