NATIONAL PARTY VIEW. LEADER GIVES ADDRESS. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) CHRISTCHURCH, thU day. Hamilton, Leader of th* National party, when he met members of the biisineHS group of the party at luncheon. , "It is up-to-date and progressive. There nrn few independents, and I think there will be fewer when nomination day conien and they have to find their ten pound*. Wo are going to win a lot of city seats—make no inintake about thut." Labour had £5 for every £1 that the National party had to spend on the election campaign, Mr. Hamilton pointed' out. Compulsory unionism brought to the Labour pnrty between £200,0(10 and £400,000 a year. The National party'* finances could not go arty where near that figure. "But we will put up a .tght in «|<ue of that," declared Mr. Hamilton, "and when the number* go u> we will be tH winners."
