FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government Meteorologist issued to the " Auckland Star" thia afternoon ' the following special weather forecast for the Auckland province to aa far south aa Hamilton, Tauranga and Kawhia:— Light to moderate southerly to south-easterly winds. Weather fine. Temperatures moderate. Seas slight to moderate. Pressure has risen somewhat over New Zealand, especially in the south, an anti-cyclone now being centred east of Otago. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, south-east, light; sea, smooth; weather, cloudy, but fine; visibility, good; barometer, steady.
