"The housing construction policy of the Government will be continued to the maximum capacity of the labour and materials available," say* the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. M. J. s *, v *8 e j. ,n a reference to the Governments po«»ey on housing. He adds that the «cop» will he extended to the rural areas for the benefit of farmers, farm worker* and other rural dwellers.
In the cities, he states, slum areas will be cleared and modern dwelling ere<ted. Also advances will be made to Assist owners to modernise existing dwellings.
