The finals of the Xorth Shore womenV golf championships are being played this afternoon. After this morning's play tin* Misses Stevens were left to dispute *h° senior championship, which they have dominated for several years. Miss M. Stevens, the title-holder, is now on a five mark, having gone up a stroke this s<v.son. On the tflher hand, her sister. Mi** Olive Stevens, has reduced from five to four. Both hßd comfortable wins this morning in tfce semi-finals. The results were:—Miss M. Steven* heat Mrs. W. Houghton. 6 and 3: MisO. Stevens beat Mrs. V. Prentice. 4 and 3. The intermediate semi-finals resulted: - Mrs. E. Cox beat Mrs. Jacobi, 4 and ": Miss R. Webster beat Mrs. J. Morrison. 1 up. In the junior division. Miss I. Stew .v. t beat Mrs. E. Dnmbleton. 8 and 7. and Miss T. Coupe beat Mrs. H. Presto,-. 3 and 2.
