CLUB AT MORKIXSVILLE. Enthusiasm was shown nt a meeting of Morrinsville residents on Monday pvenlnjr. convenpd for the purpose of forming an amateur athletic club. A welcome was accorded to Mpssis. O. C. A. Oould. presidont. and U. t,. Manderson. vice-jtresident. of the Waikato Sub centre of tin- Now Zealand Athletic Association, and to Messrs. It. Lewis. presiilPiit. and 11. Skidniore. si'cretary (if the M.-itamnta Amateifr Cyclins C'lllb. Officers elected :—Patron. Mr. \V. J. Aitken ; president. Mr. A. G. Vardley ; vice-presidents. Messrs. I). R. F. Camphell. M. G. I'hilpott and S. J. Barry; secretary protein, Mr. A. E. Yardley ; auditor. Mr. \V. Westwntor : committee. Mrs. A. J. Aitken, Messrs. F. H. Hart. C. Chase, K. Colquhoun, A.-W. liobson, J. Findlay, and I). Cates. It was decided to affiliate with the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association, and with the New Zealand Cyclinjf Cnion. The club is applying for the use as its colours of a royal blue singlet with six-inch black band.
