LAND AT MASTERTON.
AN UNCONDITIONAL OFFER.
(By Telegraph.—Prose Association.) MANTKKTON, thie day. The Mayor of Mastertoit, Mr. T. Jordan, announced this morning that the family of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas ('<>ldham Williams, early settlers <>f the district, through the trustees, Messrs. Hugh William's and CJiiy Williams, bad made an unconditional offer of 118 acres of hi ml in the borough in two blocks separated by the golf links at Lansdowiie. The areas of the blocks were :14J and 83£ acres. Mr. Jordan expressed appreciation of the munificent gift, which would prove a valuable addition to the town's amenities.
