CONSUMPTON AND N.Z. GRAPEFRUIT.
Health authorities now state definitely that consumption is on the decline in New Zealand. This decline has been steadily diminishing since New Zealand grapefruit has come into favour. I have known chronic cases of internal hemorrhage which completely cease in the New Zealand grapefruit season, and become troublesome again only after the season has passed, and to again become cured in the following season. I have known men [in the shelters who, after getting a liking for the fruit, got better. It is noticeable that even bleeders find that in the grapefruit season cuts dry up <]uickly. I. mckaloabo. the African herb that costs so much, and of which we have neard so much in the cure of consumption, is not a patch on our New Zealand grapefruit. I kno-w what I say is correct, for, knowing well that many may challenge the grood news', I have proof absolute regarding mv contention. I H. NALSMITH.
