I lie best contest of the championship was provided! in the semi-final when last years winner, Miss K. Hickman, took Mrs. Philip to the 2'2nd hole before she was defeated. Mrs. Philip went out in 44 and was 2 up. \\ hen she obtained a bogey at the 10th she increased her advantage, but Miss Hickman played verv steadily and squared the match at the seventeenth.
